CONTINUANCE

Based in Los Angeles, this band is composed of UCLA Global Jazz Studies students Dalton Mumphrey, Caden Potter, Matthew Wilson, and Artie Fitch. Rooted in jazz, the group specializes in performing original compositions and arrangements that emphasize each musicians’ ability to communicate in an adept and sincere manner while providing a vibrant musical experience. This ensemble has had experience playing in formal background settings from candlelight dinners at various events around the UCLA Campus and in the Westwood area, to more formal showcases such as the UCLA JazzReggae Festival, Fowler Museum Fowler Out Loud Series, as well as house shows. This ensemble has also had coaching sessions with the following instructors: Mark Turner, Clayton Cameron, and Arturo O’Farrill. This ensemble has also recorded in the Evelyn & Mo Ostin Recording Studio.
